The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a not-for-profit dog rescue organization specializing in older dogs but taking in and finding homes for dogs of all ages. See our adoptable dogs here. And come to the Kirkwood Petco 11 to 3 next Saturday to meet and maybe adopt your new best friend.
Today I give you cute.
I picked up four beagle puppies a couple weeks ago at a dog auction. I was afraid they could end up in a substandard puppymill or even in a research laboratory. Beagles are the preferred dog for research.
The lively foursome -- Travis, Johnny Cash, LeAnn, and Peggy Sue -- are entertaining me and wearing me out.
And they sure are cute. I'll have all of them at our adoption event this weekend at the KIrkwood Petco, I-44 and Lindbergh.
Another adorable puppy is Breeze, a 4-month-old Miniature Australian Shepherd. This little guy is not only beautiful but also very smart. I don't want to over promote him, but I think he might be about 95% housebroken. This is a great dog for someone interested in obedience training, fly ball, agility and other fun dog and person activities.
Finally, here are a couple fluff balls -- otherwise known as Shih Tzu puppies. They're great little lapdogs for people who don't mind a little extra grooming expense. In exchange, they will give you snuggles galore.
