The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a not-for-profit dog rescue organization specializing in older dogs but taking in and finding homes for dogs of all ages...even puppies. We'll have dogs for adoption from 11 to 3 Saturday, September 14, AND Noon to 3 Sunday, September 15, at the Kirkwood Petco near I-44 and Lindbergh. To see which dogs will be there as well as other adoptable dogs, go Here. And don't forget to sign up for our Trivia Night September 28 at Assumption Parish of Mattese, 4709 Mattis Rd. Doors open at 5 p.m. Trivia begins at 7 p.m. $25 per person for up to 8 players per table. For more information or to make reservations, contact Arlene at 314-623-0412 or Kulade5@yahoo.com
Nothing's trivial about a great adoption. Blossom, above, went to her new home last weekend. Her adoption fee was covered by the Purina Pets for People program. That program helps place dogs in the homes of baby boomers ( 55 years plus). Our current funding through this program is exhausted, but we're hoping for more.
And if you're a baby boomer, what's stopping you? A dog might be just what you need.
Meanwhile we are all gearing up for our Trivia Night September 28. This is our major fundraiser of the year, and we're hoping to see a full house. You can come as part of a table of 8 , or you can come alone and join others. You're welcome either way. Please sign up today. Here's the info:
