The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a not-for-profit dog rescue organization specializing in older dogs but taking in and finding homes for dogs of all ages...even puppies. Meet and adopt your new best from 11 to 3 Saturday, June 28 and noon to 3 Sunday, June 29 in the Kirkwood Petco at 1124 S. Kirkwood Rd. To see which dogs will be there, go Here.
St. Louis Senior Dog Project will be sponsoring a fundraiser beer booth at Fair St. Louis on Saturday, July 5.
If you’ll be in Forest Park enjoying the Fair, we’d love to sell you a frosty cold beverage to raise money for the dogs! We’ll be at the base of the Grand Basin, on the right side of the Budweiser Main Stage (if you’re looking up Art Hill towards the museum). Keep an eye out for our signage and come see us! We’ll have all the beer, water and soda you need to meet quench your Fair thirsts.
Of course, we’re still looking for volunteers if you’re interested in pouring with us! Special volunteer parking is available; contact email@example.com if you’d like to help.
The Fair this year sounds like it will be a lot of fun. The organizers have added lots of additional music acts and new shows/activities – including waterskiing shows and a trapeze act over the Grand Basin - to encourage people to try out the new Forest Park location. See the Fair website for more information, including parking suggestions - http://www.fairsaintlouis.org/
Hope to see you there!
And here are a few more of our senior dogs seeking new homes. In order, the are LExi, Charlie, an d Duke. And we have more.
