The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a not-for-profit dog rescue organization specializing in older dogs but taking in and finding homes for dogs of all ages...even puppies. We don't have an adoption event scheduled for this weekend, but we might make an exception for these four dogs. To see which dogs are available, go Here.
We now have four people offering to pay the adoption fee for dogs adopted in April. It's all part of Pay It Forward April month where people thank the people who have helped them in the past by helping someone else. But April is almost over, so pay attention, please.
Conrad, above, is a Chihuahua who has been with us for a year. There's nothing wrong with him. He's an adorable little guy.
And here's Benji, a Airedale/shepherd mix estimated at 8 to 10 years old. He's had a rough life to date, but is eager to spend them rest of his life with someone who will treat him right. Benji is good with other female dogs but doesn't always like the competition of other males.
Next is Rocket, a Rat Terrier mix who loves walks and sleeping under the covers. He's a good boy, ok with other dogs, but wouldn't mind being the only dog either. He's a little shy but comes around for the right person.
Finally, here is Lincoln. We love him and think he's almost perfect. He tends to be noisy at adoption events, and that makes some people overlook him. In his foster home, he's well-behaved, housebroken, good with other dogs, and great to have around. He's about 5 years old.
If you're interested in one of these dogs, fill out the application at www.stlsdp.org or email EllenE9466@aol.com. We can arrange a meet and greet to see if you might be the right person for one of these dogs.
Don't delay. This oppouurtunity only lasts until the end of the month.
