Gwen was adopted yesterday.
The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a not-for-profit dog rescue organization specializing in older dogs but taking in and finding homes for dogs of all ages...even puppies. Meet your new best friend 11 to 3 Saturday, May 7, in the Kirkwood Petco. To see which dogs wil be there, go Here.
Were you one of those who tried but failed yesterday to donate to the charities of your choice?
As you probably know, the website collecting donations crashed about 10 am and wasn't back up until about 8 pm. But because of the problems, the site is continuing to take donations until 12:30 pm today, Wednesday, May 4.
And in other news, Gwen, the senior Chihuahua above, was adopted yesterday and is now living with her new human in a retirement community.
And Errol's eye appointment (see yesterday's post) went well. He's a candidate for cataract surgery to restore his vision. We need to decide now if we have the funds to go ahead.
Meanwhile, please help. Here's the link to our donor site https://givestlday.org/npo/st-louis-senior-dog-project. If you miss the deadline, you can donate through our website at www.stlsdp.org.
Thanks for your help.

Love this cause. Far too many people neglect the senior dogs because they think they wont get much time out of them. These senior dogs deserve to live out their days by being treated with love and respect in a loving home so that when they do sadly go, they were happy in the end and have fond memories.

Most senior can't afford the prices for the dog and other comforting these for these babies.
