Errol
The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a not-for-profit dog rescue organization specializing in older dogs but taking in and finding homes for dogs of all ages...even puppies. Meet your new best friend 11 to 3 Saturday, May 7, in the Kirkwood Petco. To see which dogs wil be there, go Here.
The dog at the top of this page is Errol. He's a blind dog we found at St. Louis County Animal Control. Errol is blind, and today I'll be taking him to an appointment with an animal eye doctor.
I'll also be donating to several organizations, including St. Louis Senior Dog Project, of course, because Tuesday, May 2, is GiveSTLDay. Your contributions will help with dogs like Errol. And you might win baseball tickets! Read on.
St. Louis Senior Dog Project is joining the Greater St. Louis Community Foundation and hundreds of other area non-profit organizations in St. Louis’ largest giving event, GiveSTLDay!
We are asking people who care about dogs -- especially senior dogs --to participate in this 24-hour online giving event by donating to St. Louis Senior Dog Project:
Donations can be made starting at midnight on Tuesday, May 3rd, and until 11:59 PM and will help St. Louis Senior Dog Project continue to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need. Among our current dogs is Errol, above.
Donors can win Cardinal tickets most hours as well as the first donor of the day and the last donor of the day.
Don’t forget to be part of this community wide movement to make greater St. Louis a better place for everyone – including dogs of all ages!
